What is wrong with my neighborhoood?
Got home... parked my car, walked up to my house... Was enthusiastically greeted by a child walking up to the tree in front of my house, who was being supervised by two adults in lawn chairs next door. They all waved and said hi as the child proceeded to pee on our tree. Really? This is acceptable behavior? Couldn't you at least go fertilize your own tree? Yeah, I know... I have such high standards of people.

???? You've got to be kidding??!!
Oh, if there is anything I do not kid about, it is public urination.
;) -j.
That is very gross. And also weird that it was supervised.
Yeah, I know! Parents these days... ;)
ew...
went shopping saturday and was amazed, okay really i was annoyed by the women in the store and their SCREAMING children. no joke. i know they are the ones taking care of the kids, no dads in sight, but one of the little monsters peaked underneath the dressing room door i was in. *rolls eyes* it was like a 3 year old girl, so an expectant thing for a child that age to do, but still, a little unsettling. and this mom had left her baby in it's car seat between two circle racks of clothes and moved to another rack up ahead ... hello, did she not think that if anyone came around and didn't look down, boom, trip and fall on the baby?! sigh...
these kids were just screaming, and shopping isn't an activity that should require concentration, but damn i couldn't even think straight. and i just wanted some peace and quiet on my day off. see, i think the thing is, i was raised with the iron fist. sure i was a "trouble-maker" but i knew that if i started screaming or went too far, i'd get into a whole lot of trouble once i got home or heck even by being taken into a dressing room/bathroom and being given a very stern and scary talking to. i don't know how parents do it, or well don't do it.
i can't put up with kids who are not well behaved, one of the reasons peds turns me off so much. and i can't put up with parents who don't watch and control their kids and try to keep them out of harms way. kids are kids, they don't know any better. it's a parents responsibility to stop them and protect them. man, i can't tell you how much those 'nanny 911' or 'super nanny' shows make me angry because parents are just such wussies and pushovers and let their kids run their households.
okay... enjaborg, um, this is scary. when did i turn into you?! :P
